Last weekend I escaped to spend the weekend with a group of ladies I love and admire in Ojai, California.  First of all, Ojai is a lovely town in California.  Its about an hour + outside of L.A. or 45 mins south of Santa Barbara.  It is the home of the amazing Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.  A lovely resort that I highly recommend.  Ojai is a cool little hippiesh kind of town with lots of character!  I have know the "girls" as my husband calls them for over 10 years.  We all at one time worked together but really got to know each other through BookClub.  Of all the things I miss about living in California, the girls are definately high on the list.  I am already looking for the next adventure we share together!  

I can't believe it but my little girl Maya turned 1 on April 5th.  She is an absolute joy!  We had lots of fun at her party and during all the celebrations.  We were able to celebrate with cake and presents with my mom before the big day and then had lots of friends and family over for the party.  Top 5 things you should know about Maya 1. She loves to eat, I mean LOVES it and eats everything! 2. Loves to make her "scrunchy" face 3. Her big brother is her favorite person 4. Can say "Mama", "Dada", "Bubba", "Gaga", etc 5. Loves to laugh and be chased and tickeled.....    

 Easter started the a week early for us this year at Pera Club thanks to our friend Sam!   Devon had so much fun at the event. He was busy with his easter egg hunt, riding the pony, getting his face painted and riding in the cars.  Oh and of course the picture with the Easter bunny.It was the first one with Devon and Maya which made it really special.  Maya was only 2 weeks old at the Pera Easter celebration last year.  Maybe next year she will join in on the fun.                 .   We celebrated Easter day at Dwayne and Beckys house this year.  It was another great day with the Dixon family!  It was more special this year since we also celebrated Cameron (my nephew) birthday!  Her is a couple of fun shots of the kids.
